Dublin Street housing competition

1994
Limited competition, awarded second place, commended.

The project called for new housing on a difficult site in Edinburgh's New Town. Our proposal was for a flatted development, which responded in its use of plan and section to the problems of being overlooked by the surrounding tenements. Angled bay windows were used to orientate internal views and allow living rooms a bright aspect, while also defining a lively public aspect to the street.
